Gastro-Stop works by slowing down the movement of intestines, allowing more time for fluids and electrolytes to be reabsorbed by the gut. Gastro-Stop Plus also contains simithicone, which effectively treats the pain and discomfort caused by wind, gas cramps and bloating.If diarrhoea persists beyond 48 hours contact your doctor. If you have a fever or notice blood in your stool contact your doctor before using Gastro-Stop Plus. Do not use Gastro-Stop Plus tablets during pregnancy or lactation except on doctors advise. Do not give to children under 12 years of age. Do not use beyond 48 hours except on doctors advice. Do not use Gastro-Stop Plus if you have to avoid becoming constipated.
