The ABLE Spacer is a discreet, compact, small volume spacer for use with all standard puffers in the treatment of Asthma with an attached medium mask. Effectively improves inhaled drug delivery in both children by up to 90%. The ABLE Spacer helps overcome the problem of breathe and press co-ordination, giving the patient more of an opportunity to inhale their medication. The goal is to get the medication deep into the lungs where it can work to manage the patients Asthma. The detachable mask is fitted with a whistle which will sound with correct fit and inhalation technique for children 2 years (approx) and above. The Able Spacer is BPA free. It is made from a strong transparent plastic with anti-microbial SILVER ION technology and low static properties. Its also provides improved protection from contamination and inhibits microbial growth. The visible valve movement makes it easier for parents or carers to observe and confirm correct inhalation and actuation.
